Undocumented immigrants

Two colleges in Sioux City will merge, as St. Luke’s College will be added into Morningside University by the end of 2026.

The Woodbury County Democratic Party held its nominating convention Wednesday evening selecting Catelin Drey as the party’s candidate for the District 1 State Senate seat.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents launched enforcement actions in Omaha on Tuesday, although details were scarce.

The Woodbury County Sheriff said Tuesday that he is holding no undocumented people on behalf of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
