The Woodbury County Democratic Party held its nominating convention Wednesday evening selecting Catelin Drey as the party’s candidate for the District 1 State Senate seat.

According to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, there are approximately 4,200 unsolved cases for missing and murdered Native Americans and Alaska Natives.
