Experience the dazzling sound of the charango and hatun charango with Peruvian-born musician Alejandro Ataucusi—a performer praised internationally for his artistry and innovation. Founder of the Afro-Peruvian jazz group Forbidden Tropics and recognized as one of the top interpreters of the hatun charango, Ataucusi brings Andean tradition to life in a rare noontime concert at the NMM.

Charley and Edie Harper were a husband-and-wife artistic duo based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Charley gained national fame for his creative re-imaginings of the natural world, while Edie specialized in prints that featured well-known scenes from the Bible. One of their instructors from art school, the influential Bauhaus artist Josef Albers, is also represented in the exhibition by an original print from his "Homage to the Square" series.

WSC Art and Design Faculty Art Show
Richie Lee and the Fabulous 50's will take you back to the roots of Rock 'n' Roll history wrapped up into a high energy show! Come and dance to your favorite hits from yesteryear. Admission will be $15 at the door. The cafe will open at 5 p.m. for food and nonalcoholic drinks before the performance.

On October 19, 2025, at 2:00pm the Betty Strong Encounter center welcomes talented guitar player/singer Mark Buckingham. Admission is free, but freewill donations are encouraged.
Mark Buckingham started playing guitar at age of 12. Playing rhythm guitar with his dad, a Honky-tonk piano player, Mark has played in many different places. While serving in the US Army, Mark started playing banjo. He has been in a variety of bands types, including Bluegrass, Americana, and Country.
Currently, Mark plays at various places: assisted living homes, nursing homes, music festivals, and more. Mark plays a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass, harmonica, lap steel guitar, banjo, and penny whistle. Mark is looking forward to playing a variety of music styles, from Country to Bluegrass to 60s/70s and gospel.
